David Rosenblad has been playing electro-acoustic interactive live music for yoga and the shifting new age for the last 10 years as a solo artist, playing and leading kirtans as part of the collective Austin Bhakti Kirtan Tribe. He is a sought after instrumentalist on guitar (& bass) frequently playing with the likes of David Newman, Dave Stringer, Bhakti House Band and many others in the kirtan community…He is also the lead guitarist and a vocalist with the Life in the City band (an Austin Methodist church focused on the arts).
A longtime music producer, sound designer & composer for film-TV and music technology teacher, he is a sought after instrumentalist on guitar (& bass) frequently playing with the likes of David Newman, Dave Stringer, Rudra Das, Bhakti House Band and many others in the kirtan community, presently playing with the Austin Bhakti Kirtan Tribe. He is also the lead guitarist and a vocalist with the Life in the City band (Austin).
Sumukhi has dedicated her life to understanding and knowing the nature of life and existence. She began practicing and teaching Yoga in 1997 and in 2001, she stepped onto Ananda Ashram in Monroe, New York and found what she had been looking for in Shri Brahmananda Sarasvati, Ramamurti S. Mishra (Guruji), the Founder and Guru of Ananda Ashram’s, teachings. Since then, Guruji’s emphasis on pulsation, vibration, nature, meditation, Sanskrit, the Music of Silence and the true Nature of I-AM has inspired Sumukhi’s life and teaching in every way. She fills her yoga classes with creativity, joy, laughter, music, science, meditation and intention.
