Brian came to yoga in his late teens, as a way to channel his energy and explore the body’s limits. It immediately called to him as something very sacred, yet very real and exciting. He kept up his practice during the following ten years of a competitive collegiate and professional baseball career. Brian loves how yoga promotes a space of peace and calm, even when the outside whirlwind is all around. One of his favorite teachers used a phrase: “Let your day be the yoga.” He credits his teachers Tolo Perry, Osho, Iyengar, and Sumukhi for shaping his style and philosophy. Expect a calm, peaceful, yet challenging and focused hatha and/or vinyasa flow.
Currently, Brian teaches at Your Yoga on Fridays at noon and Total Wellness Austin every other Saturday at 10:30. He is also available for private classes and sessions. You can contact him at firstname.lastname@example.org.
