Patanjali’s 8-limbs of Yoga – Yama, Niyama, Asana, Pranayama, Pratyahara, Dharana, Dhyana, Samadhi
May 3 and 4 (8:00-5:00, Saturday/ 8:00-3:00 Sunday)
Yoga Meditation – Build an “asana,” a seat for meditation.
May 31 and June 1 (8:00-5:00, Saturday/ 8:00-3:00 Sunday)
Sanskrit and the Language of Yoga – Learn the basics of Sanskrit,and its power to open up your Voice and speech.
June 14 and 15 (8:00-5:00, Saturday/ 8:00-3:00 Sunday)
Yoga Nidra, Pranayama and Pratyahara – Explore the Yoga of Relaxation, Sleep and surrender. We will also dive into the Pranas, “Vayus” (Airs) in the body and how to work with them on and off the Yoga mat.
July 19 and 20 (8:00-5:00, Saturday/ 8:00-3:00 Sunday)
The Yoga of Money – How to work with the energies of money, abundance and power.
August 23 and 24 (8:00-5:00, Saturday/ 8:00-3:00 Sunday)
The Yoga of Health: Ayurveda – Integrate one of the oldest schools of Medicine and its prescriptions for health into your daily life.
September 27 and 28 (8:00-5:00, Saturday/ 8:00-3:00 Sunday)
Kriya Yoga – Understand the “nature, methods and means of transformation of individual ‘I-AM’ into the universal ‘I-AM.’” – Shri Brahmananda Sarasvati, translation of Chapter 2 of Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras.
October 25 and 26 (8:00-5:00, Saturday/ 8:00-3:00 Sunday)
Siddha Yoga – Explore the supernatural powers of Yoga, Chapter 3 of Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras
November 15 and 16 (8:00-5:00, Saturday/ 8:00-3:00 Sunday)
Kaivalyam – “Self-analysis, Self-knowledge, Enlightenment and the Path of ‘I-AM, ’” Chapter 4 of Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras
The Yoga of Voice – Hone your speaking, singing and silent Voice of the Witness.
Online enrollment at Castle Hill is ONLY for full payment; if you wish to set up a payment plan or have been awarded a scholarship please email Kerry@castlehillfitness.com to complete your registration.
In addition, participants will be required to fulfill the following “contact hours” over the course of the entire program, to be completed by end of December 2014. Further details and instruction regarding these contact hours will be given once training commences. 10 classes attended taught by Zoe 10 classes attended -taught by Sumukhi 3 classes observed taught by Zoe 3 classes observed -taught by Sumukhi 1 class assisted taught by Zoe 1 class assisted -taught by Sumukhi 2 hour midterm- date to be determined and voted upon by trainees- sometime in the months of Aug/Sept. Totaling: 30 Contact Hours.
Sign up for all nine Yoga Illumined Weekends for $3000 by March 25, 2014 OR provide a non-refundable $500 deposit and pay $333.33 monthly (the last payment costing $333.34)- to register for the payment plan please contact Kerry at Kerry@castlehillfitness.com. Drop-in rate is $350 per weekend (drop-ins do not qualify for full program certification). Some partial-scholarships are available ($1000 off the entire program, $2000 paid in full by March 25, 2014 OR provide a non-refundable $500 deposit and pay $222.22 monthly & final payment $222.24) for those who can display need and dedication to Yoga by providing an essay to firstname.lastname@example.org.
