About Shri Radha
Shri Radha met her Guru, Sanskrit scholar and enlightened yogi Shri Brahmananda Sarasvati, in 1977. She was blessed to receive intensive training from him for over 16 years, working closely as his secretary and assistant, traveling with him and, during the final ten years of his life, serving as his primary interpreter until he left this world in 1993. She lives at Ananda Ashram (Monroe, NY) where she is a core teacher in the Ashram’s Yoga Teacher Training. She also serves as a trustee on all three Ashram boards and is strongly involved in preserving and publishing her Guru’s writings and lifework.
Since 2004, Radha has been magnificently graced to spend much time in India furthering her spiritual education and practice at the holy feet of Amma Sri Karunamayi.
With a sense of humor and delight, a spirit of reverence and deep inner silence, Radha offers programs in meditation, Yoga-Vedanta, Sanskrit and natural healing.
